The Housing Trust of Nova Scotia has proposed a 10-storey mixed use residential/commercial building on the East Side of Gottingen Between Cornwallis and Prince William Streets. The building will house 120 units, 58 of which will be affordable housing. Of the 58 affordable housing units 20 will be set aside for artists as part of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Housing Trust and the Performing Arts Lodge Halifax. The housing trust is also working with the Performing Arts Lodge on programing of proposed commercial space for art themed offices and retail.
